Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV)

What is HTV?

Heat transfer vinyl, or HTV for short, is a speciality polyurethane with a heat-activated adhesive (typically polyester-based) that can be used on certain fabrics and materials to apply designs to promotional products, textiles and apparel.

The vinyl comes in a wide variety of colours, metalics, colour changing and UV/ Glow in the dark varieties.

Vinyl

HTV is great for designs with bulk colour in its designs with no small thin details as the cutting blade cant get fine enough with out ripping the vinyl, if it has fine detail we would suggest a DTG or DTF Print.

Garments

We use 100% Australian Cotton Shirts, this allows us to have fantastic adhesion to the garment and is supporting local companies and Australian Farmers.

File Types

We can technicaly use either but we do prefer vector files as when resizing they keep their integrity and dont make fuzzy outside lines.

We prefer Vector files (.SVG, .EPS, .AI, .DXF file types) but willing to look at Raster files (.PNG, .JPEG or .JPG, .GIF, .TIF File types) if its to bad we will let you know.
